Działania Światowej Organizacji Zdrowia coraz częściej spotykają się z krytyką polityków, ekspertów oraz przedstawicieli społeczeństwa obywatelskiego. Zarzuty kierowane pod adresem WHO koncentrują się na kilku zasadniczych kwestiach, w tym między innymi na przejmowaniu przez organizację kompetencji państw członkowskich, promowaniu szkodliwych ideologii czy próbie wymuszenia na państwach-stronach uznania kontrowersyjnych praw, jak tak zwane prawo do aborcji. Liczne głosy krytyczne pojawiają się również w odniesieniu do finansowania WHO czy niedostatecznej transparentności działań podejmowanych przez tę organizację. Biorąc pod uwagę powyższe, Instytut Ordo Iuris zdecydował się przygotować raport o Światowej Organizacji Zdrowia. Celem niniejszej publikacji jest przedstawienie w sposób zwięzły i treściwy najważniejszych kwestii dotyczących WHO, zaczynając od jej genezy, poprzez strukturę organizacyjną i tworzone przez nią prawo, aż po jej finansowanie i najbardziej kontrowersyjne elementy jej działalności.
